Emily Alper – Chicago Divorce Attorney

Emily Alper is an associate attorney at Ward Family Law, LLC. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she participated in Chicago-Kent Family Law Clinic. During law school, Emily was a judicial extern in the Cook County Domestic Relations Division for presiding Judge Grace Dickler and was a law clerk working closely with top litigators at family law firms in Chicago. She also worked closely with the editor of the Illinois Practice of Family Law series to edit and revise the Illinois Marriage and Dissolution of Marriage Act for 2017-2018.

After law school, Emily worked as an associate attorney for two boutique law firms in Chicago where she focused her practice solely on matrimonial and family law, in which field she continues to exclusively practice in joining Ward Family Law, LLC. Emily represents clients in a variety of complex domestic relations issues including, but not limited to, divorce, paternity, custody, visitation, spousal and child support.
